Security Review Quarterly (SRQ) |

Local communities from the lakes region and capitol areas have been reporting what is termed as a “rash” of burglaries in their areas. From small towns such as Sanbornton to suburban communities like Bow, there is an obvious underlying premise… There isn’t an area immune to these crimes. Please remember to arm your security systems when you leave, and don’t make mistakes such as leaving the key under the doormat. You may suffer a loss at the hands of a quick “smash and grab”, but leaving a key makes it so much easier and appealing to the would-be burglar. Use interior lighting, or ask us about automated lighting systems to make your home appear occupied, even when you’re away. Outside lighting is a great deterrent, and an automation system can provide you unattended security functions without the expense of constantly running lights when they’re not needed. |

Be sure to read your owners manual, or ask us about how to bypass zones and use the “stay” feature of your alarm to secure your doors and windows even while you’re inside your premises. (A good way to protect yourself while awaiting a loved one’s arrival or counting the night deposit!) |

Sense when someone enters a room to active a light, appliance or trigger an event to control other parts of the system Sense indoor or outdoor temperatures and adjust your thermostat accordingly Sense rain outside and cancel your automated irrigation sprinklers (why water the lawn automatically if Mother Nature has that covered?) Control many appliances, lights, and home heating controls |

It’s 6 am…. Good Morning! By the way, your garage light that you left on last night was turned off, your coffee is ready, the lawn has been watered and the security system has just announced to you that it’s a balmy 87 degrees outside with a 5% chance of rain. Impossible? Absolutely not! Ready for work? You leave at 7:30 and the system automatically adjusts you’re central A/C to 75 degrees (let’s not waste money cooling when we’re not home!) It’s 4:00 pm…. Good Afternoon! The system automatically adjusts you’re central A/C back to 68 degrees (a nice cool house awaits!). You’re on your way home and your cell phone just let you know that Billy has arrived home from school. As you walk in the door to your “Smart Home”, your TV turns on and changes the channel to NECN news. You didn’t miss that Law and Order rerun or General Hospital today, because your system recorded them for you! It’s 7:30 pm…. What a day! Your system turns on your exterior home and walkway lights and let’s you know that you left the garage door open (Oops! Would you like your system to close it for you? No problem!). Law and order starts to record again while you watch who gets booted off your favorite reality show. The front foyer light comes on as the doorbell rings—It’s the Joneses coming to visit—won’t they be envious of your Smart Home! An SSNH automation system is built with tremendous expansion capabilities, so you don’t have to break the bank to do it all at once. Give us a call at (603) 608-3331 for details! |
